Watermill School Home School Joy of Moving Festival

Watermill School is partnering with EFL Trust, Port Vale FC and Ferrero to launch the ‘Joy of Moving Home School Festival’, a full afternoon of home school activities and games to get children and their families moving and having fun. Following the launch of the new online Joy of Moving Resource Hub, at https://www.joyofmovingresourcehub.co.uk/ the Home School Festival will involve 72 other EFL Trust network Club Community Organisations and at a time when children are unlikely to experience the fun of their school sports day this year or missing play time with their friends, will offer children and families an afternoon of movement and fun with different games and activities to choose from. The resources to take part are being sent home to some families through class teachers or Monday deliveries r alternatively, you can access them via the school Home Learning website page. You can do some of the activities by yourself or you might need the help of a parent or carer. You don’t have to do all of the activities as you might not have the space or equipment. Maybe you can change the activities if you find them too tricky? Just do what you can and have fun!!! The activities are designed for you to do all in one afternoon, but you can spread them out over the whole week if you wish. Our official Festival date is Wednesday 20th May, so it would be great to get as many people active on that day as possible. If you get chance to record your results, take a photo of you taking part then that would be great, and I will be in touch to let you know how we can share them. Take care and have fun! Mr Kirk
