Secondary Pathway 3

Secondary Pathway 3 is predominantly constructed to encourage students to develop their own personal style whilst still developing a technical vocabulary, knowledge of a range of artists, designers and craft makers.  Students will specialise in a minimum of two art disciplines across the two year programme, for example, ceramics, printmaking, drawing & painting or textiles.  Students will study at Entry Level 1, 2 or 3 via the awarding body WJEC and will leave with accreditation in two or more disciplines.  Secondary Pathway 3 is carefully designed to ensure those with an interest in continuing Art & Design post -16, have the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to continue their art education at the next level.
