Secondary Pathway 1

This pathway will cover Christianity, Islam, Judaism and introduce Buddhism which has not yet been taught. Children will continue to learn through the explore, relate and apply approach and there will be many units in this section where children are not focused on one particular religion. Instead the children are looking at the 6 main world religions to answer stimulating and engaging questions such as, ‘Does the world need prophets today?’ Children will cover the questions using art, drama, poetry, debating, comic books, letter writing, checklists and using computing to create leaflets and power point presentations.
