The Secondary Pathway continues to focus on the 6 key aspects of PSHE but with increasingly more complex topics. Pupils will start to use their PSHE lessons to actually have real life experiences to prepare them for adulthood. Pupil will carry out or take part in daily personal living routines. Pupils will make real decisions (with support where necessary so that they can act upon them).There will also be many activities where children will be encouraged to make contributions in a respectful way. Pupils will also take part in a range of team building activities where they will be encouraged to focus on effective collaboration and being able to adapt to differing situations. Throughout Secondary Pathway 1 pupils will have plenty of opportunities to get out into the wider world to really bring their learning to life.
