Admission Criteria.

         

Each of these classes have different ways to access them:

Prevention Class

Individual schools local to Stoke on Trent can sign up to the Prevention Class Service Level Agreement. A school needs to contact the INSPIRE office (01782 883777) and ask for our SLA document. There are different payment options depending on how a school plans to use us. Once a signed SLA and referral form is recieved an initial meeting will be arranged and the placement can be coordinated.

Intervention Class

A referral form is available from the Local Authority admissions office. Referrals will be discussed at a fortnighly INSPIRE panel meeting. Places will then be discussed and allocated based on level of need. The class operates on a six week rota. The cost of the placement varies depending on the option chosen (Resource Options Page, in the costing section).

Plus Class/Shining Stars/Stepping Stones.

The Local Authority will direct pupils into this class as a result of meeting the agreed criteria or a permanent exclusion.
